Our high energy carnival projects are suitable for all ages and abilities. From samba drumming to instrument making and carnival costume creation there is something for everyone.
You can either book tasters in one of the carnival disciplines or book the whole package to create a community / school / team carnival procession in your area.

Carnival Residencies
We can provide a full carnival service if you are interested in creating an event in your area. This is designed on a project to project basis so if you are interested please contact us to arrange a meeting.

Shake it Out - 2 hours
4 - 6 years
- An introduction to samba drumming specially designed for younger participants.
- The workshop leader will arrive with a plethora of exciting goodies from the local scrap store which participants will make into an array of weird and wonderful musical instruments.
- Once the instruments are ready the workshop leader will teach participants a simple samba rhythm and everyone will generally have an opportunity to make lots of noise!
Introduction to Samba - 1 day
8+ years
- A workshop designed for participants who have little or no experience of samba drumming.
- This workshop is led by two samba mestres who will arrive with a set of samba drums.
- The leaders will take participants through the basics of samba, its origins and the names of the instruments. They will then learn a samba rhythm which they will rehearse and perform to parents, teachers, classmates etc. at the end of the day
Make and Create - 1 day
4+ years
- All good carnivals need dazzling costumes, vibrant banners and exciting creations and this is the workshop that will do just that.
- Led by a carnival artist, participants will create a set of fantastic costumes made from recycled goodies.
Samba Dancing - 2 hours
4 + years
- The icing on the carnival cake, a jam-packed, active session that is enjoyed by people all all ages.
- Led by our new dance practitioner, participants will learn how to Samba dance like the Brazilians!
